Dear friends, herewith a few subjects for my newsletter.
Story of Eddie Woods' film and conversation in front of café Co Meijer in Goudsbloemdwarsstraat Amsterdam which he opened with a cheerful long poem and a chat to welcome his new visitors. This was going to be a most entertaining location for people who wanted to read their poems or sing their own songs and of course could also enjoy a few nice drinks.
Eccentric Eddie Woods has been a great American friend of mine for many years. He was a true artistic poet and storyteller who had been living in many different exotic countries, apparently ended up feeling most at home in Amsterdam. He and his American friend and also writer/poet Bill Levy, regularly visited my house in Amsterdam, where they entertained several other bright artists. Eddie had also lived in Germany where he ended up with a German granddaughter called Hannah.
When Hannah turned 17, she too left Germany and even staid at my lovely villa in Amsterdam, where she met her darling lover Kester from Scotland. They spent a lot of time visiting grandpa Eddie.
Eddie lived for the rest of his life in Amsterdam with his dear English partner Jane and died peacefully in his sleep. Hannah and Jane arranged his funeral on January 3, 2026.
Back to the poet’s café, where I myself of course became a regular visitor, I clearly will never forget that first 
day I walked in there, looking for a chair to sit in, when a cute young lesbian apparently had just gotten up from her chair on her way to the bar, to recite her own poems of that evening. She was a good looking somewhat butch woman, called Dia Huizinga who had just gotten up from her chair and took my hand to offer me her place. Somehow the moment I sat down with my thin summery dress, it made me feel very horny as if I could feel her sex warming my own vagina. Ah well a kind of magic feeling took place between us and now anno 2026 we are still the loving couple from day one we met. Dia has become a well-known swimmers coach for the gay community in Amsterdam and also writes poetry.
